Since 1970

A Hialeah bait shop since 1970.

Iggie's has sold live bait, tackle and fishing advice to South Florida anglers since 1970. Today the shop is at 1795 W 8th Ave in Hialeah, open seven days a week.

Same neighborhood, a few blocks over

For years the shop was on Okeechobee Road. It moved a few blocks to West 8th Avenue, where customers find it today, still close to the canals that run through Hialeah.

Longtime customers say the shop has been around longer than they have. The hand-painted sign out front still says it plainly: since 1970.

What anglers come in for

Live shiners, shrimp and pinfish, plus fresh and frozen bait, tackle for fresh and salt water, and rod and reel repair that usually takes a few hours to a few days.

Just as often, people come in for advice. Reviews keep coming back to the same thing: they asked where to go, followed the directions, and caught fish.

Ask before you drive

Live bait sells out. The board on our homepage shows what is in the tank today, and the phone is always the quickest way to be sure: (305) 805-3366.
